Despite an incredibly challenging lead-up with heavy rain and tricky conditions, we were fortunate to host another unforgettable Legends Pro-Am. A huge thank you to the pros, players, sponsors, staff and volunteers who made the effort to be here and helped make the day a success.
This year truly was an international affair with 14 Australians, 2 Americans, 1 Canadian and 9 Kiwi professionals taking to the course.
A special welcome and congratulations to @markbrowngolf , playing his first Legends Pro-Am and taking out the professional title with a brilliant 4-under 67. Dean Simpson and Richard Hill followed in second and third after countback.
On the Pro-Am side, congratulations to our winning team Denise Morgan, Paul Morgan, Catherine Blake and their pro Dean, finishing with 110, just ahead of a strong field.
A massive thank you to Expol and all our sponsors for their continued support. This event wouldn’t happen without you.
Our thoughts are also with those affected by the recent weather across the Bay, especially in Welcome Bay, Papamoa and Mount Maunganui. We stand with you.
