QUALIFYING FOR MATCHPLAY OVER TWO ROUNDS OF NETT
Saturday 9th July
All those that tried to play in qualifying are in the draw. Draw was done by lot.
FORMAT FOR MATCHPLAY
Nett Matchplay, with shots given off lowest handicapper (in line with recommendations from NZ Golf).
Match play rounds:
Round 1: On or Before 13th July
Round 2: 20th July
Semi Final: 27th July
Final: 3rd August
All matches should be completed by the date on the draw. Matchplay cards must be returned.
Players should contact their opponents to ensure the time for the match is agreed.
The preference is matches should be played in the Saturday windows, however matches can be arranged at a mutually acceptable time.
In the event an agreeable time cannot be arranged, the highest qualifier, will have the right to set the time, as long as the time is in the Saturday windows.
The match committee of the day, made up from at least one member of the men’s committee shall have the final ruling.
Any disputes will be referred by the match committee to the men’s committee who will have final say over all men’s events.
Prize will be issued at end of year prizegiving

The Eagles Golfing Society of NZ are visiting Waihi and wish to extend an invitation to Waihi Members to join them for a round of golf.

The Eagles Society was formed in the 1960’s, and raises funds to
support junior golf and the Halberg Foundation.
The Halberg Foundation encourages and supports young people with Physical Disabilities to enrich their lives through sport & recreation.
The Eagles Society has raised over 5.5 million dollars in the past 60 years in support of the Halberg Foundation.
The Waihi Club has 5 Eagles registered with Waikato they are John Drent, Andy Roche, Brian Bains, Carol Leary and Rodger Bagshaw.
