The Eagles Society was formed in the 1960’s, and raises funds to
support junior golf and the Halberg Foundation.
The Halberg Foundation encourages and supports young people with physical disabilities to enrich their lives through sport & recreation.
The Eagles Society has raised over 5.5 million dollars in the past 60 years in support of the Halberg Foundation.
The Waihi Club has 5 Eagles registered with Waikato they are John Drent, Andy Roche, Brian Baynes, Carol Leary and Rodger Bagshaw.
