We are very excited to announce that EXPOL are the major sponsor for this third Legends Pro-Am story. We plan a full field of Legend Pro’s from New Zealand and Australia, and they are just as excited to be playing for the first time on this tour at Waihi Golf Club.
What is a Legends Pro-Am?
It is a one-day format where 3 amateurs partner a professional in a team format while the professional plays their own ball. The amateurs play for team prizes and the pros for a separate prize purse and points towards their ranking on the Australasian Legends tour order of merit. To be eligible for the Legends Tour the professional must be 50 or older.
What is the Format?
The format for this event is an optional fun meet and greet 5pm Thursday 22nd in our clubroom and the official draw for each teams Legends Pro with complimentary platters. The Legends Pro-Am main event is on Friday 23rd January. It will be a shotgun start at 9.30am followed by lunch and prizegiving.
The teams will be made up of 3 amateurs and a Legends Pro. You are welcome to enter a complete team or enter individually and we will make a team up for you.
The best 3 Stableford scores on each hole for each team of three amateur’s and the professional will be the winners of the Waihi Legends Pro-Am.
