Apata Triple Pairs Challenge 12-13th October 2019
Posted October 12, 2019
Tournaments
It was a near–perfect weekend in all respects for the 2019 Triple Pairs competition very generously sponsored by Apata Group Limited, specialist post-harvest service provider for New Zealand kiwifruit and avocado growers, Expol (producer of Expanded Polystyrene packaging products), Primor ( major avocado marketers), PGG Wrightson Real Estate Waihi, and The Clubroom (Tauranga’s complete golf warehouse).
The 54-hole nett competition played over two days on October 12/13, consisted of three 18-hole rounds— Canadian Foursomes, Scottish Foursomes, and Fourball Best Ball, the combination pairs to be either Men’s pairs, or Mixed pairs.
As always with a major tournament there is an enormous amount of work to be done behind the scenes to ensure that all facets are covered, large or small, and the organizing committee is to be congratulated for a job very well done. The greens staff presented the course in excellent condition, and the caterers worked hard to satisfy hungry players for two days. Well done team, it was a wonderful tournament!
